BPMG Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) values users’ personal information and is taking measures to protect users’ personal information by complying with the provisions of related laws such as the Personal Information Protection Act.

The Company provides information on (i)how to and for what purpose process personal information of users and (ii)measures for personal information protection as follows:

 

1. Items of Personal Information and Collection Method

The Company collects the minimum amount of personal information required to provide the Service.

-  When receiving inquiries:

In the case of collecting personal information in the course of users’ using the service such as users’ participation in events, a separate consent procedure is in place.

3. Retention and Destruction of Personal Information

1) As a rule, the Company destroys personal information without delay when the purpose of collecting and using personal information is achieved. However, if the period stipulated by the relevant laws and regulations or consent from the user is obtained, it will be kept during such period.

2) Personal information stored in electronic files is completely deleted using unrecoverable technical methods , and information printed on paper is shredded or incinerated to prevent it from being restored or regenerated.

4. Entrustment of Personal Information processing

“Entrustment of Personal Information processing” means Company makes an external company perform some of the essential tasks while providing various services to users. Entrusted tasks and entrusted companies are as follows. However, this information is based on the time the user confirms, and we will notify you if the entrusted company or entrusted task changes.

The Company, in compliance with the relevant regulations, manage and supervise the entrusted company to process personal information safely in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.

- Currently there is no entrusted company.

 

5. Provision of Personal Information to third parties

 

The Company uses Personal Information within the scope notified in “2. Use of Personal Information”, and does not use the user's personal information outside such scope nor disclose user’s Personal Information to any external parties, without prior consent of the user, in principle.

However, the following cases are exceptions.

- When the user consents to such disclosure in advance

- In case the Company judges in good faith that it is required by laws (e.g.,

When there is a request from the government/investigation agency in due process in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations, etc.)

 

6. Protection of Children’s Personal Information

 

Unless permitted by applicable law, the Company does not knowingly collect or use Personal Information from Children aged 18 (or certain age otherwise defined under relevant law) or less, without consent of parents.

 

7. Rights and obligations of users and their legal representatives and how to exercise them

 

The Company protects the rights of users and legal representatives.

1) A user may at any time request the Company to view, correct, delete, or stop processing of his/her personal information. Users may request these measures through "10. Personal Information Protection Officer and Request for Access to Personal Information and Remedies for Infringement of Rights" of this Privacy Policy as well.

2) If a user requests correction of errors in personal information, the personal information will not be used or provided until the correction is completed. In addition, if incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, the result of the correction will be notified to such third party without delay so that the correction can be made.

 

8. Matters Regarding Installation/Operation and Rejection of Automatic Devices Collecting Personal Information

 

The Company may use 'cookie' to implement automatic login functions, record Service visits of Members and non-members, and analyze usage patterns in the Service delivery process.

The Member has the option of allowing all cookies for the cookie settings, checking every time a cookie is saved, or refusing to save all cookies. However, if a Member declines to set cookies, he or she may have difficulty using some services.

Examples of how to set the cookie acceptance level per web browser are as follows: Each setup method can be changed by a browser service provider, and for other browsers, please refer to the setup method for each browser.

 

 

9. Measures to ensure the safety of personal information

 

1) Users' personal information is encrypted.

The Company transmits users' personal information using an encrypted communication section, and stores important information as encrypts.

2) We are working hard to protect personal information against hacking and computer viruses.

The Company is installing a system in an area where access is controlled from outside to prevent leakage or damage to users' personal information by hacking or computer viruses. A system that can detect and block hacker intrusions is installed and monitored 24 hours a day, and a vaccine program is installed to prevent the system from being infected with the latest malicious codes or viruses. In addition, we are continuously researching new hacking/security technologies and applying them to our services.

3) We minimize the number of people who can access to valuable personal information.

The Company minimizes the number of employees handling personal information, establishes systematic standards for the creation and change of passwords for the database system that stores personal information and the system that processes personal information, and standards for the right to access to such personal information, and conducts continuous audits.

4) Regular training is provided to employees on the protection of users' personal information.

We are conducting regular training and campaigns on personal information protection obligations and security for all employees who handle personal information.

For answering the members’ inquiries regarding personal information and resolving any related complaints, the Company has designated the Personal Information Protection Officer and Department processing Personal information access request.

The Company will provide prompt and sufficient answers to users' inquiries.

11. Responsibility for Linked Sites

The Company may provide Members with links to other external sites.

In such cases, the Company has no control over external sites and materials, so this Privacy Policy does not apply and cannot guarantee safety, etc. for the usefulness of the services or materials provided therefrom. If you click on the link that the Company contains to move to a page on another site, please check the policies of the new site as the privacy policy of the site is independent of the Company.

 

12. Amendments to this Privacy Policy

Members will be notified of any revisions to this Privacy Policy, including any newly added, deleted, or updated information, through ‘Notice’ in service at least seven (7) days prior to the amendments.

However, notices on important amendments that affect Members’ rights will be made at least thirty (30) days prior to the amendment date.
